Weird that you've seen nothing for it, though if you don't get the chance to see many smaller films where you are, it shouldn't surprise me that you haven't seen many trailers for smaller films.

I think I would die if I lived in a small town. I mean, I see plenty of dumb blockbusters (and good ones, too), but if that was all that was available....I'd go nuts.Fletchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17299302086449086987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-23424866471386933992009-03-13T11:42:00.000-05:002009-03-13T11:42:00.000-05:00All these movies look terrible. It's such a beautiful movie done right and always have tears by the end. The relationship between the father and son and how he risked his life to keep his boy innocent was beautiful.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-83718737930010690362009-03-12T17:57:00.000-05:002009-03-12T17:57:00.000-05:00Chris: Wow, thanks for the compliments! Ironically, it's the earliest memory I have of watching the Academy Awards, because I remember when the director won, he hopped/walked over all the chairs to get to the stage. A great moment.

Though I haven't seen it, for whatever reason, I know I'll get around to doing so eventually. Maybe sooner than later since you'd like to hear my opinion.

Thanks for introducing yourself! I hope to talk to you more in the future.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08092564511948736386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-61971301752454178102009-03-12T17:31:00.000-05:002009-03-12T17:31:00.000-05:00Hey Nick,I know this is not the right place to pos...Hey Nick,

I know this is not the right place to post this, but I didn't really know where else to do so. I've been reading your blog for a little over a year now, and I think your reviews and other features are incredible and cunning.

But anyway, I saw a movie today that, for some reason or another, I would love to hear your opinion on. It's an Italian film called "Life is Beautiful" about a Jewish Italian man who is sent to a Nazi camp with his son, and pretends it is a game the entire time to keep his son from being afraid. If you get a chance to rent this, please do. I absolutely loved it.

Thanks,
ChrisAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
