It's just better than everything else in it. Though I admit it's a lot of fun, and really cheesy.

But you go ahead and watch Doom... and then come back and tell me not to bash Rosamund Pike in it. :PNickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08092564511948736386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-73397190531660932452012-06-12T17:44:18.307-05:002012-06-12T17:44:18.307-05:00My husband still talks about the first-person sequ...My husband still talks about the first-person sequence in the Doom movie. I might have to see it just for that, because usually first-person sequences in movies aren't very good, but sounds like this one is actually a highlight.

And no bashing on Rosamund Pike! For one thing, Joe Wright's Pride and Prejudice is not a bad adaptation at all; in fact, of the three versions I've seen, I might actually like it the best. He gets the sense of place and class distinctions down in a far more relatable and visceral way than other versions I've seen, and yes, I'm including the much-lauded 1995 BBC version as well. Pike's part is pretty small in it, though. She's quite solid as the second lead in An Education.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03288833179709873110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-72930091014008935672012-06-08T12:01:18.008-05:002012-06-08T12:01:18.008-05:00Of all the games to turn into a movie...Of all the games to turn into a movie...Aiden R.http://ctcmr.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-71310967166325300642012-06-04T08:46:03.497-05:002012-06-04T08:46:03.497-05:00Haha... that's funny.Haha... that's funny.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08092564511948736386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-63844332065535611092012-06-04T00:39:31.158-05:002012-06-04T00:39:31.158-05:00A little-known fact about DOOM is that the origina...A little-known fact about DOOM is that the original working title for the game was "It's Green and Pissed."SJHoneywellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550007053995112090noreply@blogger.com
