Like Hatter, I prefer I Wanna Hold Your Hand, or Hey Jude.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12386248680892197260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-90076761293724771432011-01-03T17:33:08.204-06:002011-01-03T17:33:08.204-06:00Travis: Indeed.

There will be some Glee on here eventually, though, no worries :P .Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08092564511948736386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-53509606605117461792011-01-03T16:32:14.079-06:002011-01-03T16:32:14.079-06:00Good call, though I tend to prefer the slowed-down...Good call, though I tend to prefer the slowed-down, Glee-jacked arrangement of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"Ryan McNeilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00440134802928893661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-332312589214574085.post-25784825720993575062011-01-03T12:49:29.459-06:002011-01-03T12:49:29.459-06:00Ya know it's funny, I'm right there with y...Ya know it's funny, I'm right there with ya on Across the Universe. I'm a fan of Julie Taymor's work and I love a good number of the musical numbers in the film (even the trippy ones) but I just don't like the film as a whole...oh well.

This song though gets me every time. The sincerity in the kids voice as he's singing mixed with the images of death (be it, as you said, a war torn town, the child's death or the news of a military loved one passing) as well as the gospel singer just get me.

I had to keep telling myself "Keep it together...you won't cry." Fat lotta good that did.xTJMac510xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06642768999357179016noreply@blogger.com
