There were a lot of films that really deserved to win and didn't.<BR/><BR/>Okay, it was obvious that either "No Country" or "There Will Be Blood" would nab best film, and I'd accepted that Juno wasn't what the academy looks for, but Ellen Page not winning Best Actress?! The girl is amazing in that film.<BR/><BR/>I agree that Atonement or Jesse James should've got best cinematography. And Cassie Affleck deserved "Best Supporting" so much more that Mr Bardem. I liked his performance, but it didn't have the same range as Cassie's.<BR/><BR/>I was slightly saddened by Enchanted not winning best song, but after listening to the winner, I'm quite happy for them to have taken it.<BR/><BR/>And the Golden Compass just can't compete with both Transformers or Pirates in terms of special effects.<BR/><BR/>The four I feel deserved their wins are DD Lewis, Diablo Cody, Atonement and Ratatoille.<BR/><BR/>Let us hope next year is better.<BR/><BR/>:DLife (And Sandwiches)https://www.blogger.com/profile/14849888056441605438noreply@blogger.com
