Random Ramblings of a Demented DoorVlog.

So I've been planning this for a while. This is a video blog (AKA Vlog) about just the randomness in my life. I'll discuss regular things about me or possibly give super short reviews of movies and TV shows I've seen recently. I want to keep each video 5 minutes or less for time sake, so it's a pretty quick watch.

Like the title, it is random ramblings, so things cut around and back and forth. Some "segments" are returned to, some are just one-shot things. This is mostly an introductory video, though. I promise that future editions will be more specific per segment (like mentioning specific articles from a blog instead of just the blogs themselves). Like I said, this one is mostly an overview kinda thing.

So yeah, tell me if you like it. What do you think? Is this a good idea? Are you even going to bother watching these? Leave your comments below... I always appreciate the feedback. And other suggestions on what you'd like to see more or less of (or something else entirely) are great, too.

Note: I actually cut a LOT out of this video. I had other random side-moments, longer explanations to things, and even a couple other movie reviews. I probably cut 2-3 minutes worth of stuff (minimum) off this video. So... yeah.

Anywho, here you go (and yes... I'm aware of the typo at the very beginning... that'll be fixed in the future):

This week's music (I know, it was hardly loud enough to hear) is courtesy of Norwegian Recycling, a Mash-Up Artist. The song is called "Hey Oh Tonight."

  1. I'm not trying to kiss your ass or anything Nick but this was BRILLIANT!

The randomness really works well for you. The popping back and forth between areas and subjects is really good. It helps keep a really good pace up and you never ramble on anything too long.

It's also good to finally put a man to the voice because you have such a great voice that when you do expressions or things that are on video it only makes them funnier.

Also the True Blood thing...I had to stop the video I was laughing so hard.

    PLEASE PLEASE KEEP DOING THIS!!

  2. That was AWESOME! Great content and editing. I agree with Travis about TB. I nearly woke everyone in my house up with cackling laughter.

    Keep those coming!

  3. Are you watching anything with people from Heroes on purpose? :P

Enjoyed that very much. Kept it fresh, discussed a lot of different topics, obviously had a lot of fun with camera angles and what not.

The TB stuff was lost on me. :(

The placement of Blog Cabins was perfect! :D

  4. Travis: Thanks! I made an edit to add a note about cutting lots of stuff. Some of it had to do with cutting certain clips down so it wasn't focused on me for too long.

Rachel: Thanks :P . It took me about 3 different variations of "Oh Bill/Oh Sookie" before I finally got it down.

Fletch: Haha... the Heroes thing was a coincidence. Actually, I think Shanghai Kiss was recommended to me because I had recently watched a bunch of movies with Joel Moore, and he was in that one, too.

Like I said, I made quite a few cuts. One of the biggest cuts I made was me talking about "The Skeleton Key," another Instant Streaming film I've watched as of late. I also cut out a section of another movie I've bought recently, a special edition of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?". Among other things...

And I"m sure you did like the Blog Cabins placement! :)

Anywho, yeah. I guess I'll keep these coming! They seem to be popular already.
