New Poll: Favorite Possible Movie Character Spin-Off.

While you're taking a break from all my awesome posting, TV Meme or otherwise, I have something for you to do. I promise, it won't take too long!

Based on yesterday's amazing article in which I detail 10 Possible Movie Character Spin-Offs, I have created a poll asking you which ones you would most like to see. You can choose more than one if you'd like, but which ones were the most interesting and/or fun-sounding to you? It's off to the right of this in the sidebar. So vote and let me know! The poll will be up for 1 week.

To Improve Or Not To Improve... That Is The Question.

I've hit kind of a slump here at R2D2, if you haven't been able to tell. It's just one movie review after another... and sometimes I can go a week without posting anything. But I want to do something more than that. I want to involve my readers. You.

But how? What would you like to see at R2D2? I've put a poll up to the left. And please feel free to comment in response to this topic and give me some straighter feedback if you'd like. That'd be great.

But here are the options:

- Add Some Games! Games add some fun interaction and competitiveness to a blog. Just check out Fletch's Blog Cabins every Sunday and Tuesday.

- Do More Blog-A-Thons! I've attempted blog-a-thons in the past, even some wherein I ask for guest posts... but nobody ever responds. So would this be something you'd be more interested in if I tried it again?

- Do More MeMes! I think I've done one or two of these ever on my blog, but they're only interactive in that those who I tag have to do them... so not super exciting, but it gets out of the monotony of movie reviews.

- No Interactive/More Articles! If you don't care to interact with others or me, but you want more themed articles about movies or whatnot, let me know. I haven't done an article in ages, but I'd be willing to write some if y'all are interested.

- Some Or All Of The Above! If you think I should do multiple choices of those on this list, choose this option. But if you do, hit me up in the comment section and let me know which ones you'd like to see specifically. I'm specifically not setting it to let you choose multiple options, because I wanna hear straight from you that you want multiples of these and that it's not just different people choosing different options.

- Keep At What You're Doing! If you just don't agree with any of the above and just want movie reviews... you're fine with just reading my opinion on films and (sometimes) books.

Anywho, I hope y'all let me know what's going on and what y'all would like to see about the site. I'd love the feedback.

R2D2... The One With Site News.

Alright, so I have just a few random tidbits of news and such to give:

-Voting is officially over for the poll. The results? People want book reviews. So I'll give them book reviews! But how about this? I'll try to connect them to movies somehow. That'll make it interesting, huh?

-There's a new poll up now! Now that we have new types of reviews, I'd like to take an introspective look on the site as is. I have quite a few types of articles and review methods for this blog. Which ones are your favorite? Or do you not even care? Feel free to leave me comments of explanation if you feel the need! I do like comments! I won't bite, I swear! And it's up for multiple choices, in case you can't decide. Or if you have a clear-cut winner, feel free just to choose one.

-After this weekend, whenever it gets all set up, I'll also officially be a contributing member to the review site, Unheralded. But don't fret! All of my reviews there will still continue to be put here, as well. And some of them might even have minor differences, as my 2 In 1 themed reviews sometimes correlate with and expand on each other. And, generally, my Thoughts On segments aren't the typical format for Unheralded, so those will be specialized for here, as well.

-Speaking of other blogs, everybody should go check out the LAMB! I've been a member for quite a few months now (I was member number 17. We now have over 100 members). It's a super secret society (or not) of movie bloggers of varying degrees. We're a really friendly bunch (or are we?). So if you have a movie blog, and aren't already a member, head on over to the LAMB and join up! And if you don't have a movie blog, there's a bunch of good movie blogs there to choose from. Just don't leave me for them... please?

So I think that's about it! Thanks to all of my regular readers (and don't be shy! I love them comments!). So... yeah!

New Poll!

I've decided to put up a poll over yonder, one to question my current audience.

I currently have two blogs (and contribute to the LAMB). I have this one, of course, as well as a book review blog, The Missing Page.

But because I can't read nearly as many books as I can watch movies in my limited amount of time... I was wondering if I should merge it with R2D2 and do both movie and book reviews all here on this blog.

Personally, I have no issue with it... but it's a question as to whether my (relatively small) audience cares about reading about both books and movies.

So what do y'all think?
