I don't know if you've realized this... but today marks the 1-year anniversary of the 60/60. On November 10th, 2010, I posted the review for the first film of this project. I only have a few more reviews until the 60/60 ends, but... there's another coming up! Well, it's the 50/50, anyway. So to honor the anniversary of the first review... what's better than to show you what films I'll be reviewing next year? As I said before, I'll only be doing one review a week for the project next time (no extras). Also, each month is dedicated to a different person's choices. I took those choices, matched them against each other, and came up with the final list. So, dear readers, here is the list of films for next year's 50/50, which will start halfway through January.

ReplyDeleteCan't wait!
-Jason
Wow, my month is like the old guy's month. One from the '30s, one from the '40s, and two from the '60s. Still, I do really like all those movies.
ReplyDeleteIn retrospect, I should have added more five-hour French movies.
ReplyDeletePretty sweet!
ReplyDeleteThough if I were you, I'd switch Scotland, PA and Much Ado About Nothing. Much Ado is a bit more typical storytelling of the play and I'd hate for you to be bored with it because you watched after all the others which are much more imaginative. Just a suggestion, but if you have your reasons for saving it for last, then so be it.
Jason: Indeed.
ReplyDeleteDan: Haha... well, we'll see how I fare!
Steve: Totally!
Rachel: Will do. I was thinking of switching one or two anyway, possibly within Joel's month (to put Halloween 4 on actual Halloween).
I have had a hard time commenting on blogger blogs the last couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteI look forward in hearing what you think of Watership Down.
It's funny Joel listed Watership Down, since I mentioned it when we were preparing for my infamously bad appearance on The Demented Podcast.
DeleteJason - did you not see my month? Good god, man!
ReplyDeleteFor Jess's month....hmmm, which one of those doesn't belong?
Lookin' forward to it - a bunch of quality flicks on here from all.
Dylan - to be fair, I gave him a list of like 8. HE chose those 4.
ReplyDeleteTo be more fair, I believe I just chose the Top 4, since they were ranked.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! If I had to do it over again, I would have ranked GAMERA 3 higher... oh well. Looking forward to March, The Most Fun Month of hte 50/50.
