Comments: I want to get this, because I love this show, but I have neither the money to spend on it nor the time to watch it at the moment. And it's also seen as an inferior season to the incredibly amazing first season... but what show's second season didn't suck? Plus, Volume 3: Villains looks orgasmic.

Brief Synopsis: Ashton Kutcher And Cameron Diaz Get Drunk-Married In Vegas And Stuff Happens After That.
Comments: Didn't care too much about this one in theater, but a lot of people I've talked to said it's really funny... and it did stay in theater for ages. I might check it out at some point. But I'm in no hurry.

Comments: It didn't come out here, but I heard pretty mixed reviews of it when it did first come out to theater. I'm not bursting at the seams to see this, even though the lead actor in it (guy with hard to say/spell name) is pretty good.

The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Beginning.
Brief Synopsis: The Story Of Ariel's Mother (Or Something Like That)... A Prequel To The Original.
Comments: Eh... the first was a classic, but this probably won't be for me. No thanks.

How many goddamned editions of Nightmare Before Xmas can there be? Maybe I'm being thrown off by the fact that it's in theaters every year, but it seems like I can't escape press for that flick.
ReplyDeleteHeroes season 2 blew. Not even sure if I care about season 3 any more. Lost season 2 didn't suck. Seinfeld season 2 was better than season 1 (by far). Shall I keep going?
Only one I'm interested in is Redbelt, but Mrs. Fletch is deterred by the fighting aspect. Eventually I'll catch it on TV or something...
I've never actually seen all of Nightmare, but I love the music from it. I went ahead and bought it (though haven't had the time to watch it yet).
ReplyDeleteI liked Heroes season 2. It wasn't as good as season 1, but I still liked it. However, that said, season 3 looks freakin orgasmic. Like... it's like they made season 2 filler just so they could get to the awesomeness that will be season 3. I'm really hyped for it.
Also... Lost season 2 is also heralded as one of the worst seasons of the show (only redemptive by the fact that it intro'd Desmond). I disagree, of course... I loved the button thing (and a bigger concentration on Hurley). But still... a lot of other people would disagree with you on that fact. And I'm not a Seinfeld fan (Nothing wrong with it... I just don't watch it. I've seen a few eps though, and they're funny). But I've seen this argument everywhere, especially all over the imdb boards... and a lot of things I've read bring up very valid points about how the vast majority of people often see the second season as a failure for really big shows, as they have too big of a hype around the second season. But then once the hype dies down from a mediocre second season, the third season = <3.

There are only four seasons in the books, and season three is the one that everyone hated. I'm pretty sure the general consensus is that 1 is best, followed by 2, then 4, then 3.
What I always heard (and for the record, I don't agree)... was that season 1 and 4 were the best, and seasons 2 and 3 were equally bad. Like I said, though, I personally really liked season 2.
