[Every Monday, I'm going to be counting down my 52 favorite musical numbers from musical movies and TV shows. I might not like the full movie/show, but the number makes the list for various reasons: 1) I have to like the song, 2) the visual of how the number is performed is most likely unique or fun, 3) both song and visual mixes well to create an exciting or powerful number. I never noticed this until I re-watched this movie recently (and thanks to Jess for pointing it out), but at about the halfway point of this movie, the songs just kind of stop and/or stop being all that good. Also, there is an uneven-ness with the choreography. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's spotty. But there are a couple songs that hit all the right notes. One of these such songs is "Seize the Day," both the first time and the reprise (which occurs after that strange halfway mark).
