So, I suppose it's official now...

Between the hours of 11 AM and 1 PM (or thereabouts) today--December 13, 2008--I attended a ceremony that, for whatever reasons, decided to bestow upon me (and a bunch of other people) a Bachelor's degree (mine, specifically, in English... teaching certificate should be coming shortly, as all I really have left to do for it is register to receive it and get fingerprinted).

So I suppose I'm officially a college graduate now. Hoorah!

I have to say... wasn't expecting that one.

    But thanks, nonetheless.

  2. Of course. I'm glad you graduated and got your degree. That's great for you.

  3. Well, the main reason I found it unexpected was that you actually found my blog (as I made it long after we stopped speaking). So there's a curiosity right there.

The fact that it's you doing the congratulating, however, was part of the non-expectancy... just not as big as the former.

  4. Yeah... well I found your old blog first, the one about your books and followed it here and have read your posts for about 6 months now. :P I thought this was big enough to congratulate you on. You should know from experience that I can find anything online.

  5. ha... yeah. The first thing my mind went back to was the whole phone number thing.

So how have you been? You and Vic still doing the whole gaming thing?

  6. Of course. Vic has a job now, working at Sbarro's. We have several current games going at the moment, though the main one still seems to be HPRP which we restarted and actually finished an entire year from start to finish (starting with their third year instead of first) for the first time in a long time.

You'd hate it though, because I changed everything around starting with the next year (OOTP), starting with them adding a second Quidditch team to every house, as well as replacing Flitwick with Corliss and Tosh's aunt. :P

So yeah, changed too much for you to accept, most likely.

  7. Ha... probably, yeah. Though I don't mind, as I'm not there anyway :P .

You know, I'd go back to FWF (and have thought about it a few times). The only things holding me back were, first, fear that any animosity between us would bring the place down unnecessarily since you were still there (which is why I left initially, right after the big fight). The second reason is, well... the fact that the place is always down and nonfunctional. But I'm also not missing Terish any, either :P .

  8. *shrug* You can go back. It's been a long time. And it was down forever but is up again last time I checked. Besides, you need to see what Spikey said to tfh for his latest '9-11 conspiracy' thread. Yes, he's still posting those.

  10. Hate to interrupt this personal conversation. But just wanted to send out my congratulations as well.

Now get a job, you bum!

  11. I echo Kane's sentiment. To steal your line, Nick, "Woot!"
